“We go to school, go shopping, meet friends, and have a rest.”

“Our friends and teacher communicate with us as with ordinary teens”, agreed Ashley.

Girls go for a walk, wait for new films’ release and enjoy listening to music. They learn to play the piano but refuse to play football. They sometimes have failures at school and with boys. They like N’Sync’s songs and go at concerts with friends.

Mary-Kate and Ashley were born on June 13, 1986 (Ashley is 2 minutes older). They grew at the suburb of Los-Angeles with their brother Trent; he is 2 years older and their sister Elizabeth. She is 3 years younger. Their parents are divorced and children had to divide for some time to be sometimes with mother and sometimes with father. Their father Dave is a broker. Their mother Jarnette performs with ballets in Los-Angeles.

“Trent is a typical elder brother”, said Kate. “He helps us with homework, likes to be our observer and looks after us. But he teases us all the time! He draws very well and goes for sport. He plays football, baseball and basketball. And he also likes computer games very much”.

“Lizzie is our younger sister.

There is some websites that give you an idea of low or high traffic websites. A good estimation of website traffic is the traffic ranking done by Alex.com.

4-Another reason is that, some webmasters don’t link back to your website, even if you added a link to their website.

5-Some webmasters charge you a fee to add a link to your website. After you pay, you don’t know how long they will keep it. That by itself, will need lots of effort to keep
track.

6-Another problem with link exchange is that few links don’t help. You will need lots of links pointing to your website to make a difference. Again, because you are dealing with website that don’t have lots of traffic.

In conclusion, I don’t recommend the webmaster of any new website to try link exchange to create traffic to their website. If you want to use this technique, use it last. Again
I am not an expert on website traffic, I am a website designer sharing my experience with traffic building techniques.

Finally! A Quick and Easy plan that you can follow that shows you how to build your own website without spending outrageous fees for web designers.

Medical practitioners do recommend that all the users who use computers regularly should report signs and symptoms as early as possible to prevent serious injury or permanent damage. The most commonly noticed signs and symptoms of MSD associated with computer use are as follows:

Signs and Symptoms

1) Numbness or a burning sensation in the hand

2) Reduced grip strength in the hand

3) Swelling or stiffness in the joints

4) Pain in wrists, forearms, elbows, neck, or back followed by discomfort

5) Reduced range of motion in the shoulder, neck, or back

6) Dry, itchy, or sore eyes

7) Blurred or double vision

8) Aching or tingling

9) Cramping

10) Loss of color in affected regions

11) Weakness

12) Tension stress headaches and related ailments

These types of problem can be caused by any of the following factors:

1. If the user maintains an unnatural or unhealthy posture while using the computer

2. If the lower back support is inadequate for the user

3. If the user continues to sit in the same position for an extended period of time

4. If the workstation set up is ergonomically poor.

It should be noticed that all these symptoms might not necessarily lead to an MSD.

The easy way to avoid

The easy way to avoid this problem with older plasma screens is to make sure that you don’t leave the TV on when you are not watching it, and especially when pausing a video game for a very long time. Thankfully though, newer plasma screen TVs have technology built in to address this problem that subtly shifts the image to surrounding pixels as you watch and essentially keeps the image moving although your eye does not detect it.

The third plasma TV problem that we will discuss is the heat it generates as it runs. Plasma screens often cause so much heat inside the unit that manufacturers usually install a fan to cool it down while operating.

She told me

She told me how she had madly spent the day trying to clean up her office before she left. Then she raced home, feeling frantic about how she was going to get everything done there before she left. Slowly she had that sinking feeling that although she could get away from it for two weeks, she would have to come back to it — sooner or later. Suddenly it occurred to her that she could use the money she was going to spend on her vacation on getting her act together — and not have to go back to chaos! So instead of going away for her vacation, she stayed home. She spent her vacation money, and one week of her vacation, organizing her home. The next week she went to a nearby resort to relax — and she truly did, knowing that she could return to a home about which she didn?t have to feel guilty.

I found a delightful definition of ?vacation? in Webster?s: ?a time of respite from something.? A good first step to organizing your vacation is identifying what it is from which you need a respite.

If your job is boring, a 10-day trip on the Colorado River might be just the thing.

Personality Test: Phipps’ Molly Steinwald

0 Comments | Tribune – Review / Pittsburgh Tribune – Review, Sep 1, 2010

Molly Steinwald recently was hired as associate director of science education at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Oakland. She is working on infusing current science, research and best practices into Phipps’ programs for preschool through graduate age students, expanding offerings for teachers, and emphasizing participatory and interdisciplinary learning for all.

Steinwald has a biology degree from the University of Dallas, an masters in ecology from Purdue University, and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in zoology at Miami University, conducting innovative research on the effects of photography on how people relate to nature. She serves as the environment committee chair of the North American Nature Photography Association and affiliate council member of the International League of Conservation Photographers. A self- taught photographer, she primarily focuses on mundane nature in the built environment and child-nature interactions.

Steinwald grew up in Manchester, N.H., and credits her biology teacher — a botanist –for cultivating her interest in the natural world and giving her the confidence to pursue science as a career. Learn more about her at: www.mollysteinwald.com.

The star who would play me in the movie version of my life and why:

Natalie Portman. Because our personalities seem to have a lot in common.

Childhood hero and why:

My high school biology teacher; he was amazing at getting kids into local nature and unafraid of science.

Pick one:

A. Go-Gos

B. Goo-Goo Dolls

C. Lady Gaga

D. Yo Gabba Gabba

50-50 — Goo Goo Dolls and Lady Gaga

The piece of memorabilia from my childhood I wish I still had:

Gregory, a small white teddy bear. I think my old high school boyfriend had him last.

The superpower I wish I had in real life and why:

Ability to never need sleep; life is too short as it is.

I can’t live without my: iPod, cell phone, DVR or laptop?

I could live without all of them, but I use my laptop the most.

My favorite reality show:

Why waste real life watching a virtual one?

App that I wish I could invent:

Automatic shutoff after a certain number of hours per day. We have so few face-to-face interactions as it is.

Favorite brunch food:

Coffee

Favorite guilty pleasure:

Buying too many items at yard sales.

Best mistake I’ve ever made:

Joining a wildlife genetics lab for my doctorate; I never would have started taking photos of the sidewalk nature outside my research building if I hadn’t been so disheartened by working in a sterile, windowless environment under fluorescent lights all day (and night).

Something I would do over if I could and why:

Get married, to my husband, again. (We just celebrated our eighth anniversary!)

Favorite lunchtime spot:

People eat lunch away from their desk?

Top thing on my “Bucket List” to do before I’m gone:

I try to live every day like it’s my last. But it would be nice to visit Europe someday.

In five years, I’d like to:

Finally be Dr. Steinwald, and have made substantial progress toward turning Phipps into a major center where science, art, education and community engagement converge.

My favorite thing about Pittsburgh is:

The people. The rivers. And the architecture.

Star I’d like to dance with on “Dancing with the Stars”:

Gene Kelly

Three people I’d love to have dinner with:

Fyodor Dostoevsky, Ludwig von Beethoven and Leonardo da Vinci. Though I’d much prefer late-night conversation over coffee or rum and coke.

My favorite sandwich, plus fixings:

I’m not that into food, but I can say that anything without horseradish probably is on the safe side.

One word my mother would use to describe me:

Good question. I have no idea

leek, white part only. For a little color you can use a bit of the softer green parts just above the white.

A healthy pat of butter

Enough chicken stock to cover the ingredients. About a cup or so will do

2 large baking potatoes, peeled and diced

Bouquet Garni (Herb satchel)

Optional: Heavy Cream

Salt and Pepper

Clean the leeks. Make sure you remove the sand from between the layers. Slice the leek.

Melt your butter in a saut? pan, lower the heat and add the leeks and the bouquet garni. Let them cook until translucent.

Add the chicken stock and potatoes. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer. Cook until the potatoes are tender. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

It is the capitol of Texas and as such it is one of the most important cities in the state. As symbol of that importance is the Governors mansion. Located at 1010 Colorado right next door to the capitol it is a sight to behold.

The Governor’s Mansion has housed every governor of the state of Texas since 1856. It was designed in 1854 by architect Abner Cook and was built in the Greek Revival style of architecture. It was completed on June 14, 1856 and its first resident was Governor Elisha Marshall Pease. Since this time the mansion has undergone many restorations and upgrades but has remained true to the original design of Abner Cook. The last restoration in 1991 was made possible by a $1 million dollar appropriation from the state legislature and an additional $3 million in private donations.

Visitors to the Mansion today will see a short 20 minute tour featuring an extensive collection of portraits and antique furniture which give a glimpse into the mansion’s and the state’s past history. Some of these items include Stephen F Austin’s writing desk, a couch from the estate of Governor Pease and various other historic artifacts.
