Christie's Story~ I have always felt an extremely strong connection with the Goo Goo Dolls' music. When they played Name that night in The Loft, I broke down. I cried. I couldn't believe that these amazing men were standing and playing right in front of me. Knowing that John has been through some similar things that my family has experienced made me realize that there are people oput there who have experienced things like me and have moved on to be very successful in life. Brooke and I were fortunate enough to meet John as he was coming out of the club. I have to say that he is about the nicest guy i have ever met. He gave me a hug and thanked me for waiting for him in the pouring rain. That night was surreal to me. When I met him, he just seemed so real and genuine. All i could do was thank him. Words truly cannot express what their music has meant to me.
